Roger Sprik

rogerRoger grew up in Puerto Rico, went to college in Michigan, and then started a career in California as a Spanish teacher. Since then he has returned to a first love in computing and is the full-time Technology Director for Valley Christian Schools outside of Los Angeles. He is a longtime and well-known member of the PowerSchool community through his contributions to PowerDataSolutions, authorship of the mobile web pages, frequent posts on community forums, and presentations at both the Southern California PSUG and the National PSUG conferences. While Roger is incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of PowerSchool, his specialities are customization, GPAs, and Enterprise Reporting. When not hacking PowerSchool, Roger loves to spend time with his family, playing guitar and doing community outreach in places like Tijuana.

Greg Satterwhite 

PSTech Group

gregGreg is the president and principal consultant at PSTechGroup, Inc. A former tech support manager and trainer at PowerSchool with 14 years of PowerSchool experience, he goes back to the days in the late 90’s when what is now PowerScheduler was being developed and later integrated into the PowerSchool SIS. He has presented at numerous PSUG conferences over the years. Working with schools all over the world, Greg specializes in Scheduling, Standards, training and implementations.

Romy Backus

She currently holds the position of Student Information Systems Specialist at the American School of Dubai and was previously PowerSchool Coordinator at Zurich International School in Switzerland. Apart from founding the European PSUG in 2012 and organizing conferences in Zurich, Valencia, and Malta, she also teaches sessions at the National PSUG conference in Las Vegas each summer. She contributes frequently to the online PSUG Yahoo and PowerSource forums, maintains several customizations on PowerSource Exchange, and enjoys working closely with international schools around the world to represent their voice to PowerSchool product managers and create connections with the wider community.

Doug Irish

img_3586Douglas has been working in international schools for 22 years, and as the PowerSchool Administrator for about the last 10 years. He has led a PowerSchool implementation team for one school and assisted in another. Douglas has attended one National PSUG event in Las Vegas and is PowerSchool University graduate twice over. Douglas is currently the Director of Technology at ISK, Nairobi, after having been the Technology Director at TAISM in Oman for 7 years. Originally from Canada, he enjoys the cottage each summer, boating, tubing, skiing and golfing. 

 


Bob Cornacchioli (remote)

Bob was the Technology Director and PS Administrator for Shrewsbury Public Schools in Massachsusetts, USA. He currently claims to be retired but his business DERO Technical Services keeps him busy with clients and presenting at most PSUG events all over the country. He is also affiliated with Level Data and ParkBench Software. He’s the guy that has the BOSTON accent! His training specialties include standards, elementary scheduling and building standard based report cards.


Jason Springel (remote)

jasonJason Springel is the PowerSchool Evangelist and Senior Product Marketing Manager for PowerSchool, the leading education technology platform for K-12 schools. Jason has been assisting schools with their technology needs in a variety of roles for the past 22 years at Apple, Pearson, and PowerSchool, and uses that experience to provide guidance and leadership to help shape future product development. Jason delights in meeting and working with customers and educators at user group conferences and other events, where he has become a well-known speaker. Jason has been a fan and user of PowerSchool since 1999, and feels privileged to officially represent the product.
